Blue Period, The Hollow Men, and Andrew Bird

Sometimes when I look at a painting, hear a song, or read a poem it grabs a hold of me and doesn’t let go. It’s like I’ve hit an emotional, sensory, and spiritual focal point. I don’t want to go anywhere else and I never want that moment to end.  Things seem to come into focus while other things go fuzzy. The lyrics, images, or silences fill my brain and echo around and impact and I feel lifted to the sky…

Falling to the ground

Gravity you caught me and

To the ground I come

Bearing gifts of fruit

And shiny baubles of sky

For those who can’t fly

    Andrew Bird. ❤

I have so many songs that have an emotional connection to them.
I've had days where I just lay outside and listen to music. It gives the clouds a story. 😀
